Care Tech AB has acquired Svenska Trygghetsjouren AB and thereby strengthens its customer offering in Sweden. The acquisition means that CareTech can offer healthcare providers a unique full service that includes the carephone, alarm reception, service and response. "This acquisition strengthens CareTech's position as a complete supplier of carephone solutions and means that we are well positioned for future growth," said Magnus Ekqvist, CEO of CareTech. "By offering the health care sector a complete service in the emergency chain, we make it easier for progressive healthcare providers to get closer to their end users. CareTech's strong product line which includes IP and GSM functionality offers new solutions for health care providers at a time when older analog alarms are being rapidly phased out and will increase security and wellbeing for older people” Svenska Trygghetsjouren AB provides various services in the emergency chain to the elderly. The business is based in Malmö and has a turnover of just under 20 million SEK. The acquisition also means that Annica Hübner becomes an owner in Care Tech AB.
